Ammo in the Turks and Caicos = Prison

As a guy who uses legal marijuana in various forms I always double-search everything before I travel. One time I switched wallets to one I felt was more suited to my traveling and a quick check of it found a smooshed up edible...an old California made Cheeba Chew with about 50mg of THC (I am sensitive to THC so I would take those with little slivers cut off to make about 20 doses). I almost did not check my wallet because who thinks about a wallet as a place you accidentally leave weed?

That would have been quite illegal anywhere in Europe, even places where it is tolerated. (I was going to Greece) If I ever go to a "really illegal" place like Singapore or Malaysia I am just gonna get new everything for my trip. Clothes, bag etc. etc. I am gonna walk though customs getting scratched by tags I never cut off. I am gonna reek of that weird "new clothes smell". I am gonna be really paranoid.

But for Ammunition where is it you people might accidentally have some that you have not considered? Do you do a once over of everything even though you know damn well you would never have a cartridge in there?

It is also crazy about how many people go to the airport and forget they have a firearm in their carry-on or on their person. I have accidentally had a swiss army knife in my pocket before. Any checklist you guys have before traveling so you do not have an expensive accident?
